Where Wongamat and Naklua are
Naklua is the northern part of Pattaya, and Wongamat is its coastal strip along the bay. We cover them together, as they are neighboring areas with a similar character. Nearby is the Sanctuary of Truth, a wooden temple by the sea and one of the city's main landmarks.

Both districts are quiet, with clean beaches and above-average prices. Wongamat is about high-rises and bay panoramas, while Pratumnak is about a green hill and low-rise buildings. If your budget is limited, look at Jomtien: it has the most affordable condos near the sea.
